Here are some of the ways we can help your student:

  1. Classroom Guidance Lessons - 4th through 6th grade students will receive one guidance class per week. These lessons will cover a variety of topics such as: decision making, responsibility, career exploration, resolving conflicts, etc.
  2. Group Counseling - Small educational groups are provided for students who might benefit from extra support. Topics may include: friendships, anger management, organization, self-esteem, impulsivity, etc.
  3. Individual Counseling - Short-term, one-on-one counseling support is available. Students may be referred by teachers or parents/guardians. If it becomes apparent that your student might require more intensive, regular counseling, there are many options in Centre County.
  4. Consultations - We work with all school faculty and staff to help your child(ren) have a positive school year.
