All About Mrs.Houtz
About Me
My name is Zoe Houtz. I live in Spring Mills with my husband and my two dogs. This is my fourth year teaching at Penns Valley Elementary and my eighth year teaching. This will be my third year teaching kindergarten at PVE. I previously taught third and second grade, but kindergarten has a special place in my heart. This is my absolute favorite grade to work with! I am so excited to serve as your child’s kindergarten teacher this school year! I look forward to partnering to create a positive learning experience!
Education
In May 2017, I graduated from Messiah College with a bachelors of science in Early Childhood Education with a preschool-fourth grade teaching certification and minor in teaching English as a Second Language. I believe that education is an active process that opens doors for meaningful and authentic learning experiences.
