About Me

I have been a school counselor for ten years and am excited to be in my second year here in Penns Valley. I grew up in State College, PA, and earned my bachelor’s degree from University of Connecticut before returning home to complete my master’s degree in School Counseling at Penn State.
Much of my career has been spent working as an elementary school counselor in the Arlington, VA, where I supported students and families in a diverse school community.
My husband and I are thrilled to be back in beautiful Centre County with our three daughters—we recently welcomed our third! Being closer to family and part of this wonderful community means so much to us.
As a school counselor, I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and heard. I look forward to partnering with families to help students build confidence, strengthen friendships, and grow academically, socially and emotionally.
