FIDs & VIDs
This year, we will be implementing both FIDs (flexible instruction days) and VIDs (virtual instruction days).
FIDs:
If a Flexible Instruction Day is called, your child will be expected to complete the work sent home and return it to school the following school day. Please see below for more specific information regarding internet.
If you have noted you have reliable internet: Your child is expected to Zoom at scheduled times and complete the work the same day to receive credit. The zoom link can be found on my website and I will post it on ParentSquare/email.
Please remember your child needs to get on to the Zoom for their special. They will Zoom with the special teacher from the day before. Please use the calendar in your child’s folder for special cycle days! Special zooms can be found on my website and the teacher’s website!
If you have noted that you have unreliable/slow internet: Your child will need to complete the packet and return it to school the next school day. All work must be submitted the next day for your students to receive credit/attendance for that day!
VIDs:
If a Virtual Instruction Day is called, your child will be expected to complete one of their VID packets in their already prepared green VID folder and return it to school within two school days. They will also need to complete the specials activity for whatever special would be taking place that day (refer to the calendar in your child’s take home folder for the day # and specials schedule).
Students may join office hours/check-ins if they need any assistance with their work. They are NOT required to join.
